Mission
Global Journal Project empowers high school students through business skills to connect communities by sharing stories.
We provide students and their faculty advisers with the necessary tools, resources, and mentorship for operating a student-run magazine business. The GJP model joins three diverse high schools (public, private and international) that form a chapter and collaborate to produce a high-quality, cross-cultural print and online magazine as “a shared voice.”
Chapters
Each GJP chapter is a print and online magazine business run by students from a three-school collaboration. A chapter forms initially as a partnership between two schools in the same geographical area, ideally one public school and one private school. Once the public-private partnership is established, the chapter adds the international school to complete the structure.

Our Projects & Events
Projects in the GJP network begin with a relationship among people, one that stems from a magazine story and that leverages combined resources. All projects undergo an approval process by a committee of students from the chapter schools. Donors are encouraged to support specific projects, and the chapters provide updates on progress, completion, and impact.
Events celebrate the talents, skills, and expertise in the chapter's larger community. These come from stories in the magazine or are responses to those stories, and they include concerts, exhibitions, lectures, workshops, and community service.
Support Our Community
With tax-deductible contributions, donors can support specific projects, the development of a specific chapter, or the development of GJP. Whether donating by check or online, donors can designate where their funds go and can see the impact with updates from the beneficiaries.
